Heroic Feat

Today's Daily Wondir isn't a Q&A per se, but rather a wondirful story we felt should be shared with the Wondir community.

Yesterday, I saw a man dive in front of an oncoming car to save a little boy's life. They both were unharmed and the overwhelming gratitude of the little boy's mom made me realize just how precious life really is. It also makes me realize that my problems really are just minor setbacks. In a strange way I'm grateful that I was there to witness it.

Thanks for sharing this story with us. WOW, that's amazing. Life is so very precious that we all take it for granted. No amount of money and no big house or how successful you are could ever replace your child and the love you have for that child. You should write this story in your local newspaper for everyone to read and maybe the hero would read it too.

How enlightening situations like this can be for all of us. It can really bring tears to your eyes at the lengths people will go to to help another, often putting their own life on the line. When I was 12 I also jumped in front of a car to save my three year old sister. I'm not sure why I did it. I just remember seeing my sister in danger. It is so good to know that there are good people out there in a society where every news report includes either unnecessary abuse or murder. I'm glad you posted this on here because it is food for thought for all.
