Ok there are positives and negatives to adopting dogs or cats in each of the ways you mentioned. That being said, no matter which option you choose to use, be sure to get as much information (health issues, aggression issues, etc. etc) about any animal you decide to adopt. Do your research on whatever breed of dog or cat you decide to adopt online so that you know what type of temperment, health issues, grooming needs, etc. etc. are associated with that breed. And if it is a mixed breed research both breeds. If you want a pure bred dog do a search for Rescue Organizations for that particular breed. There are thousands of adoptable pets out there that need a forever home, but you need to be sure that you get the right type of dog or cat that fits your lifestyle! Good Luck! LIvewithGrace!
