Permanently Damaged

Anonymous asked:
What kind of treatment can I use to treat my perm damaged hair?

sunsational
answered:
I had a similar problem. This is what I was told to do by the hair dresser: do a conditioner mask. Mix all types deep conditioners together, just rub in your hair then get a shower cap. Keep all of the hair in the cap. Just take hair dryer and blow dry the cap for about 10-15 min, then sleep in the cap. Wash in the morning and it really did help. I did a few more times and my hair had life again.

Dogs vs. Cats

Anonymous asked:
What are the best pets to adopt: cats, dogs, other?

jacquie1
answered:
That depends on your personal preference and lifestyle. Dogs are loving and great companions and are probably more interesting than a cat but they need to have someone home with them for company. They need long walks and alot of time and attention. With cats, they are loving but very independent. They will come up to be stroked now and then, need feeding, but they like to get on with things alone. They like to roam free outside and are less of a commitment.

Deep Thoughts

Anonymous asked:
If practice makes perfect, and if no one's perfect, then why practice if no one's perfect?

Bored4465663
answered:
Good question. I guess because striving for something in life is easier than always asking why some things are just the way they are, just because that's just how it is and maybe practice doesn't make perfect, but it does help with understanding it all.

Diet Right

Anonymous asked:
I am trying to lose about 30 lbs. What is the best diet and exercise schedule?

Bored4129957
answered:
Don't eat: Junk food. This includes Fast Food, packaged food with preservatives, and pretty much anything with a high fat content and a high processed carbohydrate content. Also cut back on use of salt. Do eat: Whole grains, and lots of fiber. Fruits and vegetables, and lots of protein. Eggs and reduced fat milk are good too. Most importantly; exercise. Start small, but work towards a combination of aerobic (running, swimming, biking) and anaerobic (sprinting, weightlifting) exercises. You need both.

Just Like New

Anonymous asked:
How can I clean my clear glass shower door? I have tried white vinegar and even a razor blade! It still doesn't look like new.

godforhire
answered:
The thing I use myself is copper polish. Just pour some on a tissue or a piece of cloth and make circular motions (apply some pressure). Mine is a Dutch product and doesn't scratch the surface. In about half an hour it looked brand new.

Yes it's polite. People do expect it. Sometimes they don't but most of the time they think if they give you something, you are going to give back. Even if they don't, you should.

Good as renew?

Anonymous asked:
My passport had expired about ten years ago. Must I now apply for a new one or can I still renew it as I will be traveling out of the country next year?

bleep
answered:
You need to apply for a new one, but referring to the number of your previous one on the application should make things go more quickly. You need to get a new one every 10 years in the countries I have lived in, but you're allowed to let them lapse if you're not going to travel.

Faster than a speeding...Santa?

Anonymous asked:
How does Santa cope with security alarms?

AnswerBus4000361
answered:
I don't think many people have their chimney alarmed, and seeing as he moves faster than the speed of light, sensors don't pick him up.

When you can forgive their mistakes, when you can look past their inadequacies, feel the pain inside by looking at their eyes, feel the joy at a glance and communicate silently. You know it's love and not lust.

If you are looking for something fast, consider 512 K of memory, 2.5 ghz processor or higher, a decent video card and plenty of space on your hard drive (80 gigs or so). Dell has good deals, Toshiba and IBM are also good.

Music To My Ears

Anonymous asked:
How do I get the high notes?

roboutwest
answered:
Well if your a female it's not that hard to do-if your a young man it is still sometimes easy, but as you grow older and you are a man, those high notes are very hard to hit. All you can do is practice your scales. See if there is any free or inexpensive vocal classes in your area or maybe join a choir or school singing group. Basically the more you exercise those vocal chords the stronger they get. Just don't practice late at night or in the shower! You'll lose friends fast! Kidding- good luck.

Who are your customers? Why are you selling? What are the busy times of day? What are the things that make this neighborhood unique? Who is the competition? And have your accountant look over their books to see if it's doomed from the start.

The laws of physics and motion makes Dad right. Though the difference would only be a zillionth of a inch it would still be a slightly different spot.

Home Improvement

Anonymous asked:
What is the best way to seal off pipe-work? We plan to remove a washbasin.

MK17
answered:
The correct procedure would be to cut the pipes under the floor boards and then solder a "Blank" fitting or use a "blank" compression fitting. If, in the future you may re-install something in it's place, then a good idea would be to use a valve to stop the water...this would then make re-installing any item in it's place very easy because the water supply would not need isolating.
