Mind Your Manners

Anonymous asked:
Advice on traveling to Egypt?

Dress appropriately. Long sleeves, no shorts or short skirts. It's a conservative Muslim country so you need to conform to those customs. Read up on the currency so you don't get taken for a ride, also learn the Arabic words for please and thank you, etc. A little effort goes a long way with the locals.

Jiggle a bit

Anonymous asked:
Why does my cheesecake split on top after taking from oven?

You cooked it too long or too hot. If you put a flat pan on top of the cheesecake pan during cooling, it will slow the cooling process and make cracking less likely. Be sure that the middle half or third is still jiggley when you take it out to reduce risk!

You're Fired!

Anonymous asked:
Do you admit it if you have been fired?

I have heard yes, it is always good policy to be honest however lean on the positive side describing what you have learned from the experience. However it is good not to think you are required to give all the information without it being requested. There is an agenda behind the question such as are you trustworthy. The truth will be brought out in the open anyway!

What's Your Limit?

Anonymous asked:
My son is 25 and trying to get his first credit card. He's getting rejected, since he has not credit history. What should he do to establish credit?

Have him apply for a gasoline card or a department store card, then use it occasionally and on time and not to pay it off all at once. Paying it off in full every month doesn't do much to establish credit worthiness, if all else fails apply for a secure card (it's actually a savings account) that you make deposits into and they give you a card with a limit up to the amount in the account.

Is it hot in here?

Anonymous asked:
What is the best seating arrangement for three interviewers and a single job applicant?

I'd say the best arrangement to relax the interviewee would be to have four chairs in a circle. The best arrangement to make the person as nervous as possible would be three chairs on one side of a table, and them sitting on the other.

Bad Manners?

Anonymous asked:
How do I control my horse with bad stable manners?

Depending on what its doing, I would recommend that you hang a dangling suede/turnip in order to stop it chewing/weaving etc. If it weaves hang it to the side of the box's half door. It may be bored. However, if its bolshy when you enter the box, perhaps tie him up firmly and talk to him calmly; building up your time in the box each day.

Who's on First?

Anonymous asked:
What exactly is the infield fly rule?

WGuest2155520 answered:
I just learned this a few weeks ago after wondering about it for a long time: Say there is a runner on 1st base, and the batter pops up the ball. The runner who's on 1st base would stay close to 1st base, so the player who caught the ball couldn't throw him out. Now suppose the player who wanted to catch the ball, let it drop once, and then picked up the ball again and threw it to 2nd base then to 1st base for a double play.....I think the infield fly rule protects this un-sportsmanlike behavior!
