How do you get your current job to appreachate you?
I hate to say it but if you spell this way on the job, it's no wonder they don't appreciate you. Do your job, get an education, use that education on your job, do more than is expected of you, ask questions, make it known you want to learn more than just your job. Then your employer will begin appreciating you.
I'm a dj I don't need to spell!!! I ask questions and work my butt off everyday... I have been there 5 years and not one person has my track record. I'm always early never late...
If you feel unappreciated after five years with the same company then possibly you are not in the right job. People who don't make the effort to spell correctly usually don't make the effort to do other things correctly. You may not feel you need to spell correctly since you are a dj but in reality you write things everyday and anyone in management who sees what you write and the way you spell, they are going to be influenced. There is a young woman where I work who is very good at doing her job but when it comes to spelling and writing things down correctly; she is a nightmare. No matter how many times it is pointed out to her she doesn't see what the problem is. She will never be promoted because she presents her work as if she doesn't care. If she doesn't care then management is never going to care enough about her to give her a raise or a promotion. That is how employers view this. I am in management, I see it every day. You may not think it's fair, but it is the way it is.
